I am now back to my regular hours at the gym and it has taken quite some time to recover from the surgery. Along the way I have had a couple of set backs but nothing too major. I am now back into my weight training and my only restrictions currently are running and ab work. I am hoping that these things will be able to be introduced into my training shortly. I was able to get my large intestine returned to me after surgery once it had been tested. It was different to what I expected it to look and feel like. It feels more rigid and has the hard ridges like in your throat. For anyone that is interested to see it let me know as I still have it. I don't think I will keep it long term though. I am looking forward to starting up exercise sessions and running the Nothing to Lose groups in the near future once I'm properly healed. For anyone interested in being involved in a group session let me know. Sheena Burnett Nutritionist Fit 4 Consumption Hamilton, New Zealand |
